Microsoft has launched the lowest price internet-ready Nokia phone till date – the Nokia 215. It is a 2.4-inch non-touch display entry level phone loaded with Nokia’s basic Series 30+ OS. It is the same OS which came in the last 3 Nokia features phones launched before this one, i.e. Nokia 130, Nokia 225 and Nokia 220. This phone too is in the line of its predecessor in terms of features and design. It is launched in 3 colors of White, Black, and Green. It has alpha-numeric keypad below the display screen. The keys of the keypad are placed separate from each-other with enough space to type conveniently.

It sports a basic 0.3 MP camera at the back and a built-in torch light at the top. The microUSB charging port and 3.5mm audio jack are too on the top side of the phone. The microphone is just below the keypad. There is no other port or key on the any side of the phone. The speaker opening is just along side of the camera. It supports MP3 music playback and FM radio with in-built antenna in the bundled earphones. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity and can be paired with Bluetooth headset or speaker.

It will be available in both single and dual SIM variants.The Nokia 215 Single SIM variant will have stand-by time of up to 29 days and the Nokia 215 Dual SIM will offer up to 21 days of standby time. Users will get up to 20 hours of talk time in the new Nokia 215.

Although Nokia Series 30+ has almost no installable apps, this phone comes pre-loaded with Facebook , Messenger, Opera Mini Browser, Bing Search, and MSN Weather. It supports Nokia’s SLAM sharing technology.Sharing content is simple with SLAM technology, simply bring two SLAM-enabled devices together to send or receive files. It comes with almost no in-built storage but you can use up to 32 GB microSD card as expandable storage.
